Rain, Strategy Help Give Kurt Busch First Victory of the Season

They say that into every life a little rain must fall. For Kurt Busch, the rain fell at the right time at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon on Sunday. The rain shortened the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 NASCAR Sprint Cup race by 17 laps to give Busch the victory in his No. 2 Miller Lite Dodge.

The premature end to the race made a tactical gamble by Busch’s crew chief look like a stroke of genius. When several of the race leaders pitted for fuel prior to rain at lap 274, Busch’s crew chief, Pat Tryson, decided to leave Busch on the track in the hopes of getting few yellow flags and making it to the checkered. The rain sealed the deal and gave Busch his first victory of the season and his 18th victory in 273 races.

“We had a pretty good car all day,” said Tryson. “We topped off the fuel on lap 218 and we were pretty close to making it to the end. We were hoping for some cautions, we got them, and I told Kurt that we were going to stay on the track and take a gamble. It worked and got us a win.”

I was looking forward to looking at the photo taken this weekend ta gateway int. raceway at the nationwide series. If you say you have a wed site, then have one what did you do with the pictures of myself and my son???

Hey Mr. Busch and Mr. Tyson 7/3/08

Pause for station Identification - that's all . You appear to be optemistic men along with manager Mr. Tyson . As a supporter of your sponsors (CHEERIORS ,Pillsbury )and the like ,I beleive that heathy thaughts began with heathy hearts and minds ,split timing in making decisions is a plus that gives us the edge . continue on and good luck.
May I also ask because I am sure you both like to eat well , Farm Aid is gearing up for a race of sorts to aid our nations farmers with a concert , they are asking America to give , LET US. Request also the farmer in the hat T-shirt and make that contribution , I am sure it will look well on the both of you .
We all have race to run , so let us run toward victory with healthy hearts, minds bodies and souls .
